Romantic Wedding Deep In Eagles Nest Wilderness at Piney River Ranch
Cellina & Colin’s destination wedding at Piney River Ranch in the Colorado Rocky Mountains was such an epic weekend of fun, laughter, love, and celebrations.
They chose one of the most gorgeous National Forests on Earth as a starting point for what was to be a weekend full of laughter & love. Their guests were all in awe of the stunning mountains surrouding them, rode one of Colorado’s most iconic Gondolas, hiked to hidden waterfalls, luxury hotel stays following glamping tents in the forests.
The wedding itself was held at Piney River Ranch, a stunning 40 acre mountain retreat on the edge of Piney Lake. The venue is nestled deep in the glorious Eagles Nest Wilderness area of the White River National Forest. It sits at the base of the awe-inspiring Gore mountain, 12 miles north of Vail, and is surrounded by thousands of acres of pure mountain majesty. ‘Gorgeous’ doesn’t even begin to describe this place.
Cellina and Collin hired us to full plan their dream Colorado destination wedding. The couple being from South Dakota were so trusting in allowing us to assist them in creating a dream team of amazing vendors for their destination wedding in the Colorado Rockies. Cellina choose a stunning boho inspired wedding color using two of our favorites rust and teal for their bold pops. It was so fun designing Cellina and Collin’s wedding day from the custom signs, dance party glow sticks, and a fun canoe trip it couldn’t have been a more perfect day.
For Cellina and Collin’s florals we did a mix of tall harlow stand centerpieces and adorned the remaining tables with lush garlands of greenery, tons of hurricane candles and rust pillar candles to add that romantic ambiance to the venue’s reception space. Our velvet rust table runners added the perfect pop to the gorgeous log farm tables as well. We went as far as to customize gem slates for each place setting at the bridal head table. Also we cant forget our two furry ring bearers who each had their own custom flower collars that they wore down the aisle to their parents. This wedding was all about the little details from cotton candy carts, champagne bombs for each guests, honey favor jars, custom glow sticks for the dance party, a custom jeweled champagne bottle for a fun pop, glamping tents, and tons of velvet.
